Volleyball

Here at E.S.M.S., we have an eighth
grade volleyball team. Tryouts were Monday the eighteenth through Wednesday and
there were two cuts. Fifty girls tried out and so on Tuesday, fifteen people
were cut preliminarily. Then, on Wednesday, we found out who made final cuts.
I actually made the team and practice
is very tiring. I have only done Parks and Recreation volleyball in the past
and school volleyball is very, very different. The school is very competitive,
unlike Parks and Rec. I’m also not used to having practice every single day
after school for two hours.
I was really nervous about trying out
for the team, but now I feel comfortable with everything. I used to be nervous
about who got on the A and B teams, but I’m fine with either though.
