     Despite have school running for only four days a lot is going on. Classes are in secion, clubs are being started, and sports practices are happening. Teachers are dusting of the books and students are filling in their lockers. While a few wish their summer could go on the rest of the group is happy to be back. The commens is no exeption to the amount of productivity happening at the school.

     Advertisementments are being made by each group, or hour, of techsperts to get students to check out books from their section in the library. Signs and posters are being put up and tweets are being sent. We are also directing our focus to the upcoming book fair on september 18. The theme will take you back to the golden dyas of the wild west so get your saddles and boots ready folks!

     Along with this, like any time of the school year, our main goal in the commens is to help our students and teachers have the #BestYearEver in the LC. Book reccomendations are being being made and posted in the commens every week and the techsperts are always ready to help with any problem. And tech can be a major issue if you use your ipad as much as we do at ESMS. 

     Some of our top problems are.            ,                   ,                 , and.                    .Before coming to the LC try hard restarting your ipad. This can be done by holding down the home button and the power button till the screen flashes blue then black. If your having trouble with an downloading an app go through self service. If an app isnt working check to make sure you dont have any restricions on your ipad or on that app. The last and easiest thing to do is make sure you dont have and extra tabs open in safari and swipe up in any extra or unnecisary apps. These tips will ensure that your ipad and the school year will run smoothly.

Busy Week as a Techspert....by Mallory Millsap

        This week in techsperts it was very hectic and crazy. On Monday and Tuesday we had to clean the iPads and think of ideas for our genres of books. Ours are Mystery and Sci-Fi. The mystery board says "who read it?" and has a computer, that I made, that has our groups fingerprints on it. Then there is one fingerprint that says suspect identified and that is Myranda's.
         The rest of the week we worked on handing out iPads to new students and checking out books to the classes that came in. In the very little free time that we had, we worked on our bulletin boards.  Our Sci-Fi bulletin board Macey designed. It is based on Mars and has some aliens standing on Mars. It also has an alien spaceship with an alien in it that is really cool with a holographic trail behind it. The Sci-Fi bulletin biard is also going to say "Get abducted into a good book!" Jacey came up with that and I thought that it was pretty cool. I can't wait for another great week as a techspert.

This week as a Techspert by Morgan Krier

This week in techsperts we have been working on the sci-fi and mystery bulletin board. We are decorating the boards to promote our book sections. We are competing with the other techspert hours to see who can get the most books checked out of their section. I think my hour has a good chance of winning because a lot of people like science fiction books. We also organized the books on monday and tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, we helped clean ipads and give them out to new students. On Friday we helped hand out ipads and started putting the boards up.

Techsperts is almost over and it was amazing. And I think that next year will be the exact same. What we did this year was help celebrate teachers put books up and help out mis. Travis. And another thing we always have fun so for you new techsperts you are in for a ride. One of the  things that i think that could be  chang is that we should always have something to do I know that is a lot of pressure on Mis.Travis but sometimes we have nothing to do. So another thing that i think is awesome is of course mis.Travis she is the best she has some awesome stuff like the  the blogs and the VRs. I think that it will be awesome for all the new and old techsperts and i can not wait for the new year to begin.

So for the first week of Techsperts we have started working on our book projects. We picked out books for our mark twain nominees. We are trying to get people to get fantasy books so that we can give away prizes. Hope too see you get some

First Week by Breanna Williams

So far everyone has made it through there first full week of school yay! In the learning commons we have been giving all the new students there Ipads, and working on the bulletin boards. We are getting so much work done fore only being the first full week of school. I have also gotten to meet my web kids and they are all so sweet. Can't wait for the rest of this year to be great

Dear Blog....

 Hi im Ryley from 3rd hour techsperts and this is my second year of being a techspert. I am super excited especially for this year because we are doing things different, this year we will be open to help anyone with a problem with their Ipad. Also this year you guys will know and here more from us about what we are doing and what events we are planning or helping to finish. When you come to the library and need help with finding a book, or ipad issues, remember that you dont have to just go straight to Ms.Travis you have all of the third hour techsperts to try and help you with whatever you need. 

     The library has became very important to me ever since I was a techspert last year and mine and hopefully other techsperts in third hour goal is to help you learn that the library is not just a library it is a comfortable and safe place were the tiger family has fun. This library has comfortable chairs, a miniture stage, books, and our favorite of all the awesome teacher Ms. Travis. We have much more fun things and silent places to study you just have to come and see, dont be afraid to come to the library!!! And last but not least the book fair is coming up and the awesome theme is the wild, wild west!
