Book Fair is Over!

The Book Fair is over! It was a tremendous success! We reached both of our goals, and have submitted our projects into the Scholastic completion. But what now? Now that the library seems empty without the giant bookshelves occupying the space? Now that all of the Prezi’s, Powtoons, blogs, and animotos have been made? Well now we must wait. We will find out how we did in the competition in February. Hopefully we win the 2000 Scholastic Bucks and the visit from Brandon Mull, the author of Spirit Animals!

            I feel like the book fair wonderland ended in a bang. Even know it’s over I think that it will always be around us and that we know the next time there is another book fair that we will remember this wonderland. I liked to say thank you for everyone that helped in this and that they will be credited for it. Hope the next one will be even better than this but, it’s hard to hope. Remember….. Always read! :D

       I am very sad about the book fair being over. All that hard work that we put into the book fair is all over. I had such a great time doing all of the decorations and stuff. I do feel like we accomplished something amazing. We donated over 50 dollars to the Good Samaritan center for books to give to the kids that don’t get anything for Christmas. So even though I’m very sad it over I’m glad that we donated all those books to the kids.

This year’s Scholastic Book Fair had an amazing turnout. We made $1,800 more than last year, and we also received $202.60 for the All for Books organization. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Winter Wonderland Book Fair here at ESMS! We hope to have just as good of a year next year, please come and support us again! Thanks to all the people who helped make this possible! (Ms. Travis, Ms. Guill, Mrs. Keubler, Ms. Tritico, Ms. Hurd, and 2^nd= and 6^th hour Communication and Collaboration classes.) You guys are greatly appreciated!

Book Fair

Now that the book fair is over, it seems like it all went by so fast. The book fair was a huge success. Almost everyone came, and everyone loved the Reading Wonderland theme. Everyone in the book crew worked hard, and it turned out great. We hope anyone who had the opportunity to buy a book or two enjoyed them. We all helped out as much as we could to make the book fair great, and it was!  We can’t wait to see how the next book fair turns out!

Now that the book fair is over I feel like our class has accomplished something great. We sold so many books, raised money to give books to the Good Samaritan Center, and made our book fair look awesome. I am very sad to say that the book fair is over, because we had such a great time creating and working on it! I think that the book fair this year was definitely a huge success!
