Groovy Book Fair by Cassidy Bradshaw

The groovy bookfair is going on tight now and we are so close to be reaching goal! Everything is so well put together! Hopefully we reach our goal!!!

Book Fair by Kathy Travis

What a week!  We have been MAP testing and running a book fair.  It has been crazy in here!  The book fair ends tomorrow and we are close to meeting our goals.  We have a $400 All for Books goal and a $2000 sales goal.  We will be close on both.  I appreciate the support of the teachers who offered to do "groovy things" to help us!  Miss Hartman is going to straighten her hair, wear a dress with high heels, and let the biggest donor do her make-up for the day.  Miss Crane will do a demonstration of her karate moves as she is a black belt.  Mr. Rubey has offered to do something crazy, yet to be determined!  Love this staff!!!  One more day left and then on to the end of the year stuff!

Book Fair by Kari Crouse

One of are all for books fundraisers is that if we meet our goal Mr. Ruby will do something fun.

Also if we make it Ms Crane will be doing karate in the school talent show. To reach this goal the

top ten money givers will be rewarded with Dan Poblocki's autograph on May 6. Last semester we

won the first place for our book fair. We are expecting to do well again this semester. The feelin’

groovy book fair should be spectacular fair. Can't wait to see you at family night all through the

week. Hope you stop in.

We are so excited for family night next tuesday. We will have snacks, games, and of course BOOKS!!!

We want our school to do good in M.A.P. testing, but we are so excited that we get to have another book fair. We have to make sure to raise all the money we can sk we can get those cool things. Plus the ten students who donate the most money get signatures from the author himself.

MAD DASH by Ms. Travis

As usual, the Techsperts and I are doing a mad dash to complete the projects for our book fair!  No matter how hard we try, it always seems like we have to hurry through things at the end.  We are so excited about this fair and the Learning Commons is becoming a very colorful place to be.  MESSY, but colorful!  We still have a couple weeks to finish but ...  WOW how time flies!  I am so proud of the Techsperts for all the hard work they are putting into this fair!  They want to win again...FIRST PLACE!  We are trying to raise money for our ALL FOR BOOKS goal.  We want to make at least $400 because it is a BOGO fair, that is like raising $800.  We have raised almost $100 and we still have some days to meet our goal.  Some of the teachers have offered to dance at the talent show if we reach our goal!  I LOVE MY TEACHERS...so willing to do whatever it takes to help us out!  Keep reading daily to see our progress!

Hello fellow ESMS citizens the book fair will be here in 10 SCHOOL DAYS!😱 With that in mind we have many things happening in the ESMS Learning Commons decorations, book challenges, Juke Box Junk Store, and much more! Also we have the wonderful author DAN POBLOCKI!!! Here are some ways to get his autograph (for the first 10 people who can get $2.50 in music chips to Mrs.Travis in the LC will get a spot, another way is for the 10 people who donate the most to All For Books, Also 10 students can get nominated by their ELA teacher, and last but not least is the Book Fair raffle for every book you buy (not the one you get free) you get a entry in the raffle and Ms.Travis will draw and the 10 students she draws gets the author's autograph)!!! So when you buy a book you get a book free and you get a entry into the book fair raffle! Remember to donate to All For Books because some of the money raised will go towards buying books for the Good Samaritan Center and towards the new teachers who need to build up their classroom libraries. See you at the Book Fair so Can you Dig-It?

Book Fair by Ms. Travis

We are in process of decorating.  The LC is changing into a Feelin' Groovy place, Can You Dig It?  We have record walls, lava lamps, and more.  We are offering chances to see our author, Dan Poblocki, on May 6th.  If you are one of the first 10 to earn $2.50 in coins (earned by reading), you can buy the opportunity to meet the author and get his autograph.  The second opportunity is to buy a book at the book fair and your name will go in a drawing and 10 names will be selected.  The third way is your ELA teacher can nominate you.  Each teacher gets to nominate 1 student.  The final way you can earn the opportunity is to be one of the top ten people to raise money for our All for Books program.  Good luck!
