If you love feeling healthy, being in good phisical shape and you like running then cross country is the sport for you. recently this year i joined cross country and i love it. practices are evreyday after school and in the morning on wednesdays.
          practices usaly start with a run to the high school, a few laps around the upper level deck of the basketball court, after that we do some streches wich include high knees, cherry pickers, the tin man, lunges and more. after that we usaly run half a mile or maybe a 200 meter relay. after that sometimes we do the high school stadium stairs (wich are my favorite.)other things we might do are indian runs, play a game of soccer and a lot of other fun things.
          If you are worried that you aren’t fast enough or that you won’t be able to keep that will not be the case. cross country is AN indivisual and a team sport so even if your team doesn’t win a metal you still have a chance to win one. IF you are interested in cross country then sign up today just talk to coach holst. i hope i influenced you to sign up.
