This Week and Other Weeks

This Week and Other Weeks

This week I have had football every day.  I have had to mow my yard, which takes three to four hours with a tractor. In football I am on the line for offense and a nose guard and an end for defense. When football gets over at like five, and by the time I get home, I mow my yard little by little until I have to, at this pace it will take every day.

Usually I have to do this every other week and sometimes I have to till the garden, which takes about one hour with a tractor. Usually I go to my grandma's and help her or my grandma but now I have to go to school. I have decided I like eighth grade; it has been a lot easier than sixth and seventh grade. I hope you that are upcoming to middle school will like it too.

After School Football Practice

After school football practice

After school I have to go to football practice. When I am there I have to do the lineman drills learning how to play my position as the offensive line and defensive line. Sometimes it is very hot and sometimes it is going to be colder but we are not there yet we are in the hot weather. On Wednesdays we have to stay for study hall and then have practice after study hall for the regular time.
If some of the players get in trouble during school they make everybody run for what they did. But I don’t have to run that much because I am a left tackle for offensive and I play defensive end for defense.  Even though practice is hard and challenging it helps me play better and do better for high school.

Dance

By: Lexi Bryson
Dance
Dance has started at Fine Hammod Dance and you can sign up to dance for several different dance style or genres. This year, I’m doing Hip-Hop and Jazz. We only have no more than 10 people in both of these classes. You can join today if you want to and it’s over by Sonic and Price Chopper. At the end of the year we have a big performance and it’s really fun!!
The classes go from how good you are not by age so they go up to high school and to 3 year olds. If you are interested in doing dance, I highly recommend going through Fine Hammod Dance. Its fun and your child will love it!! :)

Football Season

Football season is back at ESHS and at ESMS. Home football games are Friday nights at the high school. If you are in 6th through 8th grade, you can go and sit with your friends in the middle school section and watch the game and go to the concession stands and snack on some nachos and get a drink if you want.
When you go to one of the games, remember that you need to be respectful to the other Tiger fans!! To get in, it only cost  5 dollars and you can stay and watch the game if you want to.
Last Friday was their first game and we lost 17 to 4 and almost got a touchdown at the last minute but it was too late. Maybe we will win the next game. And remember, GO TIGERS!!!!!

Short Week

My short week
Brody Willis
This week of school is going to be a short week because of Labor Day. This week I haven’t been as busy usual, having the same projects that will be due soon. I’m starting to have some things to do after school as well.
After school, I will be starting physical therapy, and football is starting to get a little busy. I have my first homework assignment to do, and it’s from social studies. I’m somewhat nervous about starting therapy, because I barely move it unless I have to, but I guess it’s time to start.  Next week will be a short week as well, because there is no school Monday, I’m prepared for a busy week.
