Media room The media room is the room on the right in the back of the learning commons. It is used for learning without being in a classroom, you can use it for learning with or without electronics. It has flexible seating like couches, spin chairs, chairs with balls on top to roll around on. You can also use the media room if teachers can’t/don’t want to be in their rooms. Plus the media room has tables on the couches and desks at every chair for non-digital learning. In the media room Teachers and staff can use it to take their classes in and learn. Teachers can have their students do digital learning and non-digital learning. If you want to do the classic pencil paper then you have desks and chairs with rotatable tables. Teachers can use the very large whiteboard in there for all subjects. If classrooms are cramped or just don't want to be in original classrooms, the media room is the way to go! As students funnel into the media room they get seating of their choice, all sorts of different chairs and spots. Students will have access to any sort of spot they want and they will have a table for work. If someone has shorter legs they can lower the chair and if someone has longer legs they can raise the chair. What’s great about the media room is that with the flexible seating students are able to focus on work more and work with peers around them! Floor seats also include a hard surface to put your papers and iPads on, chairs have tables and the couch has rotatable tables for any student's comfort.
