Have you ever just wanted to work in a quiet space? Many people would’ve said yes including myself. The media room is a calm and quiet work space. This makes it great for working on projects. There’s flexible seating in the media room which helps people focus on what they’re doing. Some people need to fidget and move in order for them to be focused. So there’s many options for the people that need to move around when they work. There are also options for the people that don’t need to move around when they work. It’s also a very organized space. Which can be beneficial to the student that doesn't like to work in messy spaces. Classes go in the media room all the time to learn and or do projects. There’s a decently sized white board that all the teachers use. I have seen teachers pull groups at one of the many tables. Sometimes they just go into the media room to read or catch up on work. It really just depends on what the teachers want you to do for that day. This makes a great resource for all. In conclusion, the media room is a very useful and well loved space. There’s many different things that it can be used for. It’s a very well loved space by students and teachers. It’s a quite yet fun place to be at. I hear students all the time talking about the media room. So what's your favorite part of the learning commons?
