Spirit Week by Alyssa

Last week 16-20th was spirit week, it was a huge turnout. We had so many people
participate. The spirit participation was counted and recorded in each home room
class they days of spirit week. The team with the most people to participate won the
spirit stick, the spirit stick is awarded every quarter, the teams that win it get to keep
it until the following assembly. During most assembly the spirit stick is awarded through
a series of games, but this time we did participation to try and get a bunch of people to
participate. Monday was pajama day, most people wore sweats, and obvious stuff you'd
wear to bed. Tuesday was merica’ day, people wore red whit and blue, I wore a Captain
America shirt and put red, white and blue hand prints on my thighs with paint. Wednesday
was hawiian day, people wore lays, hawiian shirts and more. I just wore a lay around my
wrist. Thursday was throwback thursday, people wore bright neon colors, legwarmers, cut
shirts and more. Friday was support your tigers friday, because it was obviously the day of
the homecoming football game, people wore  black and gold, I wore a tigers football shirt,
i put black and gold hand prints on my legs and put some of my friends football numbers
on my face. The homecoming football game was really fun, there were so many people there,
we also won 28-14 over the Richmond Spartans.
