The Second Day of the

The
books are set up, the decorations are out, and the ocean is now in the learning
commons. Yesterday was the first day of the book fair and things could not look
more magical. We have a statue of Ursula the sea witch, from the little
mermaid, standing out- almost the first thing that you see when you walk in.
The pirate wheel is up and running with a bunch of cool prizes to be won! The
excitement felt by everyone here cannot be overstated!
Along
with these new and exciting things, the pirate boardwalk is set up. It’s a path
that leads to where the pirate king and mermaid queen will sit. That’s the
people who have raised the most money for the all for books project. Also, as
of today, there are balloons set up to look like bubbles hanging from the
ceiling. Some of the lights are covered so they light up the room blue, so it
looks like the ocean. This book fair really looks and feels like it’s under the
sea.
