Book Fair

Book fair blog
Collin Hurshman
The book fair has come and is almost over. Unfortunately, we are cutting our goals a little short. There is still a day left, though, and we will have to make the most of it. While our goals may be close, it is possible for us to make them thanks to some last minute donators and shoppers.
Although it may not be the most fiscally successful fair, we didn't do so bad on the decorations. They really were top notch and the atmosphere of the learning commons was amazing. From the ship wreck entrance with port holes to the hanging boat, we did a tremendous job. Our major fault was underestimating the effectiveness of speech. We made tons of great advertisements but didn't actually talk with others too much. For the next fair, though our class will have come and gone, the people constructing it will know what to do. Ms. Travis can help stress the importance of advertising directly to potential customers. Then we will definitely win.
However, all hope isn't lost. We could still win just due to the sheer success in how well our book fair has been presented. Even if we don't win, this fair will have been a great time to learn necessary information for the next. The next book fair will be themed for the upcoming  "Monsters Inc" series movie.
