Book fair Blog Josie Rimmer
I was given the opportunities to
help prepare both of our 2013-2014 book fairs! Even though their preparations would
fairly different, being a part of them was very fun!
For the Reading Wonderland, the décor was
mostly hanging up blue, grey and white streaming, taping big foot prints down,
creating BIG books, mostly just using our imagination. We worked on the Reading
Wonderland for about 4-5 weeks! Apparently, all the hard work paid off because
we exceeded all our goals and Scholastic for the very first time, asked to use
our YouTube video to display to other participants of the contests.
Now the
preparation for the Fiesta of the Mind is a little different. We hung up flags,
we hung up signs and we are still in the process of the creations! Hopefully,
all of our hard work pays off this time!
