IPad Deployment

            This year the sixth graders are receiving IPads! How exciting is that? This will be very beneficial in many ways. This will allow students to use various applications for learning, they will be able to research information quicker and they will also be able to use tools such as a calculator or timer. Several grades will be receiving them this year as well as others in future years.

            The IPads will allow students to also use certain apps that we would normally have to get onto a laptop or desktop computer in order to use. This includes apps such as Edmodo, Safari, and IMovie. With each student now having possession of an IPad, this will also make it to where classes won’t have to take as many trips to the computer lab. Students will now be able to do the research on their IPads and will only have to go to the computer lab to do things such as typing a paper. Therefore, now that each student will have their own personal IPad, we will be able to access a whole lot more and access it a whole lot easier.
