Bald Eagles

The Bald Eagles is the national
bird and there are many different an interesting fakes about it. The bald
eagles live near water across North America. Their diet manly consists of fish
and small mammals. There are around 70,000 Bald Eagles. When Bald Eagles are
born they are born without feathers than they grow brown feathers.
Father and mother Eagle help
build nest that can be as large as a small car. Mating pairs stay together till
one dies than the surviving one finds another mate. The average life span of a Bald
Eagle can last up to 28 years. The white of a bald eagle is 6.5-14lb and the
wing span is 6-8 feet. The largest bald eagle nest on record was 9.5 feet wide
and 20 feet high. It weighed more than two tons.
