Overall this book was amazing, it had a lot of action and suspense and had two points of view to keep the reader interested.

The book was in a World War ll themed era on the invasion of Okinawa. It’s about how a boy named Hideki discovers the reality of war and what it really means to be courageous and is handed two grenades one to kill an America and another for himself.

Ray Majors is a newly-minted Marine from Nebraska, hitting the beach on Okinawa for his first action of World War II. He doesn’t know what he’ll encounter or if he will make it through alive.

Both these boys are fighting their way through many dangerous and deadly attacks, when the two of them collide in a battle, their lives changed forever.
