Book Title: The Invention Of Hugo Cabret
Reviewer’s Name: Hailey S.
Number of Pages: 526
Genre: Historical fiction
I really enjoyed this book because it has a really great
storyline and it feels like you are actually in the book
because of the pictures that are in it. There is a boy
named Hugo Cabret who lives inside the walls of a train
station and he fixes the clocks there to. Since he is
poor he steals food and other things from shops in
the train station. He also steals mechanical parts from
+a toy booth. One day he tried to get a toy mouse from
the shop but he got caught by georges Melies (the toy
booth owner) who takes his favorite journal and threatens
to burn it. Hugo becomes angry and he tries to get it
back, and that’s how the journey begins.
