This year being a Techspert was awesome. We got to be a part of so much
and got to do so much more. There wasn't really a time where we sat
around doing nothing, Ms. Travis always had stuff for us to do, and it
kept us busy. One of my favorites was decorating the library for the
book fair and also setting up for the book fair. It was lots of fun
being so creative and making everything look super good and organized.
decorating the doors was super fun too and coming in during other hours
to finish what we've been working on made us feel good. We enjoyed it
all!
We also had fun activities and other ways to be creative other than
decorating such as Bloxels, Stik Bots, Virtual Reality Goggles, and so
much more. We always enjoyed helping Ms Travis at her desk. We got to check in and
out books and got to learn how to put away books, take out books, check
them in to the computer and explore a lot. We were never shy as to
students coming in, so be sure to help out Ms. Travis next year with all
of the chaotic things that happen. Everyday Ms. Travis never failed to
remind us about writing blogs, or advertising or just keeping up with
our social media. Another thing I really enjoyed was doing the mystery
book project. We always had stuff to do, we liked some things better
than others, but had a little joy to everything.
I think that next years students will really enjoy being a Techspert. I
enjoyed it so much because of our trust being able to do trust worthy
things others don't just makes you feel so responsible and lets you know
how important things really are. I just wanted to try out other classes.
From the beginning of the year, to the end, there was never a time that
we didn't enjoy being Ms Travis's student. With all of the funny little
conversations, to the big long talks, Ms. Travis has set good examples,
always kept us on our feet, and guided us in good directions. There has
been times where I've had terrible days and I just needed someone to talk
to, Ms. Travis has always been the book I didn't want to write in! She
helped us with the big and little things and I think next year will be
great, Good luck!
