                Ever forget some of the elements that are on the periodic table? Now you can have somewhere to get all of your information. The app Chemical Touch is an interactive periodic table. By simply touching the icon of an element, the app will give you all of the info you need to know about the element. Plus, the app is fairly affordable at a mere $0.99.

          The app is very useful for science teachers and their students. The teachers could use this app for presenting the elements to the class. Students could use the app for studying and getting all of the information they need to complete their periodic table assignments. This app can be used by many people of several different ages.

            Cell phones in school would be an awesome idea. Phones can help us in class to be able to research things quickly. They can also help us take notes such as like taking pictures of them or typing them so the letters are much easier to read. For me this would be very helpful because my handwriting is so bad that sometimes I can’t even read it.

            The down side to having cell phones in school is that they can become and big distraction in class. I think it would be smart to have specific times when students can use them such as when taking note or free time but not during tests. Phones can also be a distraction because students can message each other during classes and not listen to the teacher. So if you abuse this then the privilege should be taken away. This is my point of view on the whole cell phone idea it can be useful but in some ways it can be a distraction to some people and can’t  handle it.

            Technology in school is a new innovation in learning techniques. I think it is a good change for a couple reasons. One of these reasons is because technology jobs are growing and they will continue to grow for years to come. The world isn’t going to stop living and so people are going to continue to yearn for more luxurious and technological lives. So people with skills to make people’s lives better, are in high demand. A school with technology is a school that will help teach the engineers, and scientists of the future. Another reason is because it is sometimes easier to learn with technology for some students. Some students just have an aptitude for technology or are more receptive to information they learn this way. Students like this are going to continue to show up in classrooms especially because students are continuing to grow up with technology.
            Of course, there will be students who have trouble learning with all this newfangled technology. Some students already have trouble paying attention and fancy tech won’t help this. Also, it is expensive to buy technology, and there are lots of small schools who can hardly afford running themselves as is. Still, I foresee more technological schools in the future.

Wants and needs basic principal of life whether something ids a want or a need. The basic needs are food, water, shelter, and clothing (some people also include fire). Those are the basic thing we need to live so saying that everything else is a want. But do you want to live like that do you want to live like Indian hunting food and having to make your clothing drinking water out of a pond.    Living in small caves, and I am positive most people can’t start a fire without a matches.

             So in saying that most people would want to go to school and work and be able

to go to the store to buy food and clothes. You would not have to live in a cave of start a fire without matches. The want and need that I talking about is the need that will get you to my ultimate goal. Which in my case is to become a judge I have more to say but this is long enough  so I will finish next week    

Math Class

                This year I am taking Algerbra 1. I passed a test to get into the class. The course is what high schoolers’ take when they are freshman if they didn’t take the class in eighth grade. There are some seventh graders in my class that took a test in 6^th grade so they could go to 7^th grade math. Next year I will be in geometry. Most of the people in that class will be sophmores.

                The class was quite easy starting off, but it got progressively harder. I’m taking a test tomorrow over graphing absolute value, piece wise functions, inequalities, and step piece wise. It’s really complicated. We are also learning how to add and subtract polynomials.

I used to despise math class and I would go in and sleep but still pass the class. But now I look forward to it (if Mr. List is in a good mood). Mr. List makes learning fun. He makes jokes and makes the class laugh but he also can be serious and help us learn. He understands that we all have our way of learning and can teach us in different ways. He rewards us if we do good which makes us want to do good.

Mr goldings class used to be fun (when I wasn’t sleeping) I just had it a bad hour I had it seventh hour and I was tired by then. We used to throw paper balls when he would turn around. But that is besides the point. I think mr gouldings class would’ve been 100x better if we didn’t have those big ol digits books.
